Hi, I'm Sabrina Turnpenny!

  

I study at Western University, completing a Bachelor

of Music with an Honours Specialization in Music Education, and a Minor in French. 

  

I study oboe under the instruction of Shelley Heron, and Band direction of Dr. Colleen Richardson.

Performing   

 

I love to perform, both in ensemble and solo. I've played oboe and English horn in large ensembles. 

​

My favourite performances are in musical theatre pits, not only on oboe and horn, but woodwind doubling parts, including flute, clarinet, and saxophone!

Teaching

  

I am actively seeking new oboe students!

I love teaching students of all ages.

I offer handmade reeds to students at cost, though I am still developing my reed-making skills!
